One of Australia’s biggest department stores has released its new fashion range ahead of spring.
Big W announced that it was dropping a handful of items, with options such as everyday T-shirts for as little as $2.50, on Monday.
The collection features extremely bold, bright colours that make it clear we’re leaving dreary winter behind us.
Helen Hari, senior designer of womenswear at BIG W said: “As we head into Spring, we’ll see a resurgence of vibrant hues paired with timeless staples.
“We’ve designed the collection with versatility in mind, lending it to be the perfect transitional wardrobe that is affordable without compromising on style. From classic Springtime florals to relaxed yet chic basics, there is something for everyone.”
Some items in the new range include the &me Elastic Waist Blouse, which retails for $25 and pairs with the &me Elasticated Tiered Skirt, which costs $35.
The outfit comes in sizes six to 18, and in the colours green and red.
Another item that is anticipated to be a popular feature of the collection is the Avella Women’s Ruched Bubble Dress in fuchsia, which has a $39, with the dress described by the brand as having a “flattering silhouette and tie-string detail, this set is the perfect addition to your springtime rotation”.
Other items in the range include skirts, dresses, jeans and shirts.
The brand partnered with celebrity stylist and mum Rebecca James to put together her favourite looks from the range.
Rebecca said: “As the weather warms up, there is a lot to look forward to when it comes to refreshing your wardrobe rotation. This collection has come at the perfect time as we look to welcome in the lighter layers and elevate our everyday looks this season.”
