A 92-year-old man is being questioned following the discovery of a 92-year-old woman’s body in the ACT.
Police were called to a home in the Canberra suburb of Fisher about 2.40pm on Monday after a care worker on a scheduled visit found the woman’s body.
The man, who is known to the woman, has been taken for police questioning and is assisting with their inquiries.
“Police do not believe any other person was involved in the matter and there is no threat to the community,” an ACT Police spokesperson said.
“Investigations are ongoing, and police are expected to remain at the residence for some time.”
No charges have been laid yet.
