Two men have died following a fiery two-vehicle collision on a highway in central Queensland.
It is believed a Mazda-3 was travelling eastwards on the Capricorn Highway, east of Duaringa on Tuesday August 29.
Just after 8pm the Mazda collided with a Toyota HiLux travelling westward in the opposite direction.
Police said the crash led the Mazda to “burst into flames”.
The drivers and sole occupants of both the HiLux and the Mazda, both men, died at the scene.
A nearby cattle truck received some minor damage, however its driver was uninjured.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has further information has been urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
