Two people have been charged after allegedly conning an 81-year-old woman out of more than $100,000, and forcing her out of her unit so they could collect rent on it.

NSW Police launched Strike Force Artal 23 in July, before making two arrests in October.

A 43-year-old woman was arrested at a school in Lucas Heights on October 16, while a 48-year-old man was arrested in Narwee on Tuesday morning.

Police allege the pair, who are known to the elderly victim, stole jewellery, cash and her bank cards before using them on more than $100,000 in clothes, food and other items.

Police also allege the pair coerced the victim out of her Mascot unit and illegally collected rent on the property.

The 43-year-old woman has been charged with two counts of dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception, and has been bailed ahead of an appearance in Bankstown Local Court on November 30.

The man has been charged with fraudulently render false expense account and dishonestly obtain financial advantage by deception.

He was due in Bankstown Local Court on Tuesday.
