A man and woman have been rushed to hospital after an alleged stabbing in Sydney’s west.
Emergency services were called to a home in Crawley Ave in Hebersham at about 8.50am on Friday following reports of an assault.
The woman in her 30s suffered an injury to her head, and was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
Officers from the Mount Druitt Police Area Command say the man was found with what is believed to be a self-inflicted knife wound to his neck.
Both the man and the woman were taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition and investigations are ongoing.
